Default O2 sensors and check engine light on 2003 disco

hello,

question, i'm experiencing on my 2003 disco the following issue.
check engine came on and my mechanic advised me i need to replace both rear O2 sensors. i did at 99k they were due up. the prior year i replaced one on the front. today my light came on again and he advised me to bring it again to see the fault codes. however, he mentioned i may have an exhaust leak. has anyone experience this ? could it be i just need to replace the front two ? any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Without knowing what codes you are throwing, no one can help you.

If your question is "can an exhaust leak cause an O2 code to be set?" the answer is yes.
