Be careful,
I too bought the universal ones for my 97 Disco I and they were useless. The thread size on the body was different than the oem's. I ended up returning the universals and buying them from AB. So before you cut any wires or do anything, remove one of yours and see if they are the same. In my case the uni's had a bigger thread than the oems. Also make sure you got the exact type, mine was the heated o2 sensors (4 wire) they sell 2 & 3 wire ones as well.
