Default O2 Wire harness

I have read that there was some "Issues" with some O2 sensor wiring harnesses. Well I had code P0150 and put in a new OE O2 sensor and am still getting it, so I assume I have a crack or bad wire in the harness. Is there a certain spot where they are known to go bad? Looks like fun trying to trace it down. Mine is a 2000 SD

Thanks

I've head about them getting covered in oil from leaks and having problems.

Mine was not covered in oil, the connections were very clean to begin with and I cleaned the harness connector before putting the new O2 sensor on. I get 0.00 Volts showing on my scanner from the new sensor, just like the old, so I assume there is a broken wire in the harness leading back to the ECU, because there is power at the connector.

I'm getting .44 volts at the blue wire in the harness from the ecu, 0 at the red with black and 12.3 at the other 2 wires if that helps...I guess the red is the signal back to the ecu? Still 0 on my scanner.

Yes, and live data with a $4k scanner shows 0.0 volts from the new sensor. I guess I could have gotten a "bad" brand new OE sensor, but I would doubt it.

Anyone else have this issue?

do not rule out a bad 02, have you tried changing them from right to left to see if the problem follows?

*Update*
Just like in WW2, the Germans failed again, this time with the replacement O2 sensor. Just installed my 2nd new sensor and I'm getting live readings now. All seems well again.
Thanks.
