Default oba question

I'm buying the 2inch lift from rovertym. I have an 01 se7 so ill be replacing the rear air bags. My question, maybe a dumb one, is would it be possible to turn the compressor for the air bags into an on board air set up.

Nope, it won't handle the load.
Why are you wanting to get rid of the SLS?

I have been told that it is not very durable even for light off roading. plus i have a leak, every time i go out to get in the truck the body is sitting on the tires. it does fill up as i drive though. is there a better suggestion than converting to the 2 inch springs?

No if you keep your bags you just have to replace them every 60,000-100000 to be sure!
I had both air and spring I kinda like my springs ya I have a little bounce but I don't worry about a break down ether!

there would be no way to use the air compressor to fill a tank then use the tank to fill tires or use air tools?
