OBDII scanner connector?

Where is the OBDII scanner connector in a Disco 96 SE7?? I can not find it any where on the driver's side.
Is it a loose wire??
Any help?

Try on the upper right of the center console behind the ash tray or vent, it was not until 99 that they standardized the location under the steering wheel.
