Default Octane Boost

Anybody out there using octane boost or any other additives to squeeze another 1/2 a mile out of your beast? I've read that it's not the best thing, but I just got 340 miles out of my last tank of gas, and it was 87 Octane. I can't usually get that type of mileage out of my truck unless I'm running premium. I'm still running BG44K, but I haven't since the end of June. That stuff is way better than seafoam. I'll be ording another couple of cans today off e-bay. Was just wondering if anyone was running alternatives to stretch out fuel economy....

I use Outlaw octane booster but only when I get bad gas or
know that I going to be heavy on the gas pedal.

I always use the highest octane fuel I can get.

The cost of octane booster that works can buy a gallon of
gas so if you use the octane booster to get cheaper gas
your not saving money, if thats what your after.

In my LR the mpg with or with out the octane booster stays the same.

I can pass better with the octane booster in, I think the ECM just
changes the timing.

I will run a bottle of Lucas Octane Booster when planning on a long weekend on the treail.
As for the 44K, yes it is better then Seafoam, cost 3 times as much, and does a great job, but any shop that uses it or B&G will tell you not to use it more then once every 12,000 miles, besides it is not an octane booster, it is just part of a trio package to decarbon the engine. And yes, I use one can a year and one bottle of Seafoam in my gas everyother month.
