Thanks Mike. I ordered part number MHK100800G from roverparts.com. It looks to be a genuine part. I inspected the air filter, MAF and tube. Oddly, the large hose clamp connecting the MAF tubing to the intake mainfold was loose. Really loose. I wonder if this was the cause of the MAF failure. From my research, I think it was probably just the MAF's time, but I'm sure this didn't help.

Final update, I replaced the MAF and the vehicle passed smog. Thanks for the advice and insight, this forum really saved me some serious cash!!
