I went through three aftermarket mafs from 2 reputable LR stores and my codes finally cleared when I finally got the Bosch maf (the truck ran fine though). Both stores said they had never had a problem with the aftermarket brand. Luckily they were very good about replacing them with new ones. It gave me a big headache though.

WTF is that on???? That does not look anywhere close to a disco 2 engine bay.

It's not even a disco 1, it looks like a series firewall.

At least let the person solve the mystery about the engine bay. I want to see which vehicle has parts listed in the New York News gossip columns

No problem, it helps to identify what vehicle you are working on.
I don't think that duct tape is going to fix your problem.
