I'd consider removing them altogether - looks pretty clean

 

they do look pretty clean without, but I like the look with them on and they protect my truck from the people at work who just throw their doors open because they are running late to work or just do not care. I have a nice streak of gray paint across the side of my bumper from just such a parker.

 

Looks good. I'm looking for one but can't find it. Discontinued
