Mine is not a D1, but an early D2.

I really like your disco. the yellow and black looks awsome.
I wanted lift and bigger tires but than came across some brand new st of 5 Michellin tires (255/55/18) that some body was selling locally and couldn't say no to it. I have a boring dark gray Disco. And the color is still pretty shiny, so can't justify a yello black paint work yet.

Thanks man, I love it as well...been obsessed with finding a yellow Discovery for as long as I can remember.

Great deals are hard to pass up! Nothing boring about the Bonatti Gray! But if you really like the yellow, there are only 149 more (factory) Borrego Yellow DII's running around the US so keep your eyes peeled

Thanks guys I'm having fun with this one. I built the bumpers, sliders and the steering bars. The canister is the spindle for our integrated tire carrier I just hadn't installed it when I took that photo. Here is one we built for a customer with a removable jerry can holder.

Neighbor across the street has a friend with one. Maybe that's one of the 149. Don't know if it was imported to PR from US or if the dealer here gouged him on it. Everytime my daughter sees it she asks if I can paint mine like that.
