When I got the Rover, I really wanted to see how their stock technology did. I was surprised how well it did for clearance, but not traction. I just want to give it that fair shake. My JeepTJ was locked Front and Rear, after starting with open differentials, moving to one rear locker, then adding a front - I know exactly how stuck it will be able to make me.

Can anyone officially state one way or the other that the TC system does or does not take into account if it's in low/high? I know within the next month I'll order up my ARBs front and rear, which will really just about make any work into the stock ABS / TC system worthless.

Also, from an experienced Rover off roader - How does one get the most out of it. Low throttle, higher throttle, steady throttle while applying brake 50% or something?

The previous owner told me give it some brake while you go to 'assist' it - but I can't imagine that LR was to expect their standard drivers to do this.
