Default Oh how far I have fallen, mourn with me gentlemen

Well guys I just sold my Audi to pay for a new engine for my rover. Meticulously assembled in a bunker under Ingolstadt by **** retentive German engineers from melted down panzer parts and sold to a wealthy Canadian with exquisite taste in cars, then to me a young lad with dreams of Ur Quattro rally cars and DTM 90 Quattro cars, I've had my Audi for 7 years now. She has been with me longer than any woman, through high school, college and my first job on track days and auto cross weekends on blocks and at enthusiast shows, hated by many, love by me, as much blood, sweat and tears have gone into her as parts and money. But all truly great things must come to an end.

Here is to hoping for better things and smooth running engines. Gentlemen of the British midlands don't fail me now!

Things that make a Grown Man Cry! You might just be better off having them rebuild the Panzer...just saying. Who is rebuilding the engine and what specs are you going with? Performance Cam, Top Hat Liners, etc.?

When I read the title of this thread, I was afraid you were going to say you'd bought a Toyota Land Cruiser. Phew.

I've been talking with Steven from Cannibal about getting one of his engines. So new long block, performance cam, flanged liners, ceramic coated headers, the list goes on and on.

ralphobell, if only my wife would let me have a panzer.

Colorado david, haha if only, then my wife's MR2 would have some company
