1/2 X 20 thread for the switch, 1/8 npt usually for the test gauge. If possible, take switch with you to store, or test with theirs in the store. This way, you have already found out what a PITA it can be to get at in some cases with oil cooler lines and big hands. There was also an O ring behind the switch, go ahead and replace.

on D1 the actual oil pressure sensor is prone to going bad I remember changing it every 6-8 months on my d1 lucky they are cheap
