Default Oil Pan stuck

Anybody have any tips on how to drop a stuck oil pan? Hopefully without ruining the seal, don't want to wait another few days to wrap this thing up. All the bolts are out and I just need to drop the front to get the front cover off. Thanks.

I went through thus my self and unless you have a stick of dynomite handy your're just going to have to gently pry the pan down . A bf screwdriver or stiff flat gasket scraper usually will do the trick, and while you're there you might as well plan on removing the pan so as to clean it out and clean the sealing surfaces.....ya don't want to do this twice huh ?
unfortunately.....you may have to remove a steering arm on one side to gain enough room to get the pan out,
good luck

RTV for a new oil pan gasket.
You cannot re-use the old one once the seal is broken, it will leak like the Titanic.
