Default Oil pan: use gasket or "the right stuff" sealant?

Rave says to use this sealant, which I bought at Autozone. My new Oil pump gear kit came with a factory style gasket. I did not have leaks before with the gasket, but I'm undecided which route to go.

Which gives me the best chance for no leaks?

Thanks, installing this afternoon.

I would use the factory style gasket with a very thin smear of sealant.
By the way, how many miles on your engine, have you checked and considered replacing the timing chain also?

100K. Yep, new chain going in.

Installing this afternoon:

-new timing chain & gear kit
- new oil pump gear kit
-oil filter & pickup o-rings
- dexcool flush and re-fill with Peak Global
-new Thermostat (Hoses and water pump were done at LR at 80K and look like new)
