Default Oil Pressure Relief Valve O-Ring

Any recommendations for best place to buy o-rings for servicing oil pump relief valve?

Good luck. I couldn't find one online. I took the old and matched it up at lowes

Okay, thanks. I guess most people just clean the valves and re-use the old o-rings since there's not much discussion about it. I'll try Lowes to see if I can find a match.

The O'reilly around the corner from me has a little red case full of automotive o-rings. I just took mine there to match it.

I took Dusty1's advice and went to Lowes. Found these in the plumbing section. Applied some assembly lube and they seem to fit just fine; hope the compound can deal with 180-200 degree temps. We will see.

I inspected mine. No tears so I'm going to reuse.

Worked fine. 40K miles later and no problems.

Measure the original O-ring and find a match here:
http://www.allsealsinc.com/pdf/Natio...atalogue-1.pdf
Usually you find that size in local hardware or part stores. I already went that way for a couple of o-rings (steering fluid reservoir, camshaft sensor). If you found a good match pls. post the number here.
