Is it the oil pump?
When the vehicle first stalled and the warning lights came on, that is normal, the engine had stalled so the oil light, battery light and many of the others automaticly come on, doesn't mean you have an oil pump issue.
Get the crank sensor replaced the have someone check the oil pressure, cold at idle and 2000 RPM's and hot at idle and 2000 RPM's and get back to us with the numbers.

Right on, thanks for the info, ya definetly gonna get the oil pressure tested. The one thing that scared me though is when the tow truck arrived I started it and the oil light was still on as with the battery light. It was down about a quart. Ya but I'll definetly get the pressure checked out before the 3 hr drive home. Thanks again.
Yeah belts are fine. No they changed the Crankshaft censor, (500 bucks ouch lol). Took it to the Rover shop in Calgary and they checked out the oil pressure and alls good. Forgot the #s. Yeah anyone in the Alberta area I'd highly recommend the rover shop in Calgary. Owned by Rover drivers and enthusiasts. Real decent prices and they are stand up guys too. Oh yeah they changed there name too TRS Automotive, Copyright infringements bs...
Yeah as for me thinking it was the oil pump, I think just after reading about the OP issues in 03s I just overreacted. lol Oh well better safe than sorry. Thanks for the help guys.
