If no oil made it into the pump, then there was no oil to make it out of the pump.
I'de pull the main and rod caps and look at the bearings, as well as look up at the cam.
Does the engine still turn freely?
I'm tired, but I think we're all overlooking something.

 

Ran across this thread while looking for something else and HOW DID IT JUST DROP?? Reading this was like watching an addicting TV show - but without an ending. The world needs to know how this ends!
