Default Oil Pump Question

I know in 2003 there was an oil pumpfactory defect in the production. After which production date did they fix this problem? I was offered to buy an '03 Disco.

Thank you.

The TSB has VIN numbers that are affected. Mine is in the "affected" lot and have yet to have a problem.

The range of VIN numbers I found is 3A771801-3A808362. If anybody has additional information, it is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you do a search on here? There is a link to the TSB with the affected numbers. But the general consensis is to avoid '03's all together.
You can also write down the VIN to the trk that was offered to you and call three different LR dealers and ask them, you will get a different answer from each dealer. And they dont have to be in your area either, just ask the service adviser if he can look up your VIN and tell you if you are in the TSB or not.
If two of the three give you the same answer then you have your answer.
