Your truck will not run right with the intake ports closed off. Ask me how I know...

All of the PCV hoses and a new separator are $25 from Atlantic British.

Rovin4life, thats exactly what I did. I drilled a small pilot hole real slow until it bottomed out. I moved up a few bits size and began drilling and the direction of the bit grabbing the plastic seperator began making it spin in the metal sleeve and I backed it right out. I did have to sand paper the new seperator with fine paper as it fit VERY snug in the sleeve and I didnt want to break it by forcing it in. A little sand paper later and I was done. It took maybe 20 minutes for the whole job and most of that was sanding the seperator and cleaning the sleeve.

I pulled my hose off today, it was pretty nasty, washed it out.

What do you do to seperator? Replace It?

Ok How do you know?

I do not doubt that staying with original is usually best approach, but what is wrong with the separate oil breather box?

If a lot of oil is coming thru the system, I guess that is indicative of another problem that needs attention.

I have a lot going on with mine, but I do need to know more about some of these issues while I am ordering parts and getting things done.

My pace is a lot different than most of you do to my personal situation. That is, all the time in the world, no place I have to be at any certain time anymore, but a lot less disposable income and I am the best damn mechanic I can afford. No one else is going to magically appear and do it for me!

So please bear with me if I ask a lot of questions of you guys.
