Ok, I'm confused...do all 2001 DII's have the CDL?

I have been trying to figure out if my Disco has the CDL, and I've been up to my elbows into the undercarriage of this thing, but I can't seem to find the nipple you guys talk about. Do I just not have a CDL?

No you may not have it, late model year '01's didnt have it, no 2002-2003's had it either.
Somewhere floating around here there is a pic of what to look for.
Check discoweb.org's tech section.

What is your trucks production date stamped in the drivers door well?

The Disco's birthday was May of 2001.

Doubtful, too late in the model run.
Here is a picture of what to look for, crawl under and feel for that nipple on the round plate with the 3 bolts.

Once you get the tranny out you are halfway to replacing the t-case.
