Since your fuel lines have been cut then you can use any sized fuel filter you want as long as the hose fits over it.

changed fuel filter--steady stream of fuel at the fuel rail schrader valve
still won't start. still not a lot of pressure at the schrader... only shoots fuel about 6 inches, definitely not 37 psi...

looks like i'm looking at a fuel pump.

does it have a 4.0 or a 3.9 with distributor? 95 was a cut off year.

is this a direct (enough) replacement for the actual pump part of the assembly? I haven't pulled mine out yet to look at it.
