OME is ON
so what size lift is that? I'm afraid that I'm going to have to go more than 3 inches because I really want to go with the 33" tires. I have narrowed it down to 4 different tires and the lowest any of them go with the 20" wheel (got a $12-1300 set brand new for $375) i'm going to use on the discovery is 33". I'm going with a much smaller rim and slightly skinnier tire for off road use.
The OME kit is springs and shocks. I just ordered the same kit.

Land Rover Repair Forum Store has the best price I found for a complete Old Man Emu kit with heavy duty springs, shocks and steering damper. Atlantic British (www.roverparts.com) sells the same kit but it's more expensive.
Truck looks nice with the lift ghostrider. Not as nice as mine will look but close. LOL. The 265/75 tires look like a good size choice for the 2" lift.
KBW - The OME lift is 2" front, 1.5" rear. You should probably look at rovertym's 3" if you're determined to run 33s under the Rover. Remember that once you get over 3" you'll be looking at new driveshafts and other drivetrain mods as well as the lift.

With OME you get new springs and shocks. You can shop around for them the place I ordered mine from got theirs from ARB. Just watch out for the shipping charge. There is a little rub on a full turn but not bad I am sure with a wider tire you will get more rub.
I really can't wait to get mine and get it installed. Sprayed down all the suspension bolts with LPS while I was replacing my brake pads today in preparation of installing the lift later this week.
Ya got to do the OME. The Disco takes on a whole new life. If you time it right you can do all your fluids while you are under there. Your wife wont be mad she will like it as well.
