Default OME Springs/Shocks

I have a 98 Disco with 85k miles. The suspension seems pretty soft and I am thinking of putting new shocks and or springs on. Do I need to change the springs or just shocks to firm the suspension? If so, which OME springs/shocks would be good for a stock tire size or a slightly larger tire? I have seen some info that a 3 inch lift will occur with some OME springs. I may add a larger tire but do not want a huge fender gap with the setup.

Here is a link for you to visit, it will describe the different coils OME makes for your truck. I would use the mediums front and rear along with a new steering stabilizer and the OME H.D. shocks. http://www.expeditionexchange.com/ome/indexsprings.php
Not knowing where you live, here are 2 sites for good prices, Lucky 8 or LRRF.COM
If you have any questions get back to me.

What size tire would you recommend with the medium kit?

What size tires do you have now. A small lift doesn't mean you have to up-size the tires, unless you just want to.

I will have to look at the tire size. I believe they are the stock size. I just do not want a wide fender gap and a larger tire would fill the gap. I don't want to go too big though and have rubbing issues.

There were a number of stock sizes, most likely a set of 245/75/16's is what you should look towards.
