Default OME Steering Sabilizer

Last night, I removed a Tough Dog stabilizer I had in favor of the OME version. I picked up part# OMESD22...It definitely feels better, not getting so much bump steer with this one. BUT....I noticed this morning driving to work my left turn is limited. The steering wheel feels like its going all the way, but when I look at the wheel its moving only an inch or so. The drive through was fun today 🤦‍♂️.
When I installed it, my wheels were straight...Took the old one off and just popped the new one in...stretched it out to mate with the bolt holes...bolted it up and drove away.

How do I tell if I did something wrong on install, or if this Damper is too short maybe?
It seems like stretching it out to mate with the bolt holes put it at its max, but there was no other way to get it on... that I realized at least...

I recently did a new steering damper myself. I got a TF and the only thing you can screw up is if you put it in back wards… that might explain it?

i can't find any information on the interwebs that says the OMED22 will fit a 2003 D2.

most websites say "universal fit" (less than helpful) or Nissan Patrol.

a quick search for an OME steering stabilizer for a 2003 Land Rover Discovery does not bring up a OMED22 anywhere.

it looks like the OME part you need is OMED02.

A way to check is raising the front wheels off the ground and turning lock to lock. It will be easy to see any binding.
