I hope this was worth of me trying to rush it for this weekends trip lol...

a friend said he could do it at his shop in two weeks but I couldn’t wait.

but I did notice how much better my ride was after installing the rear... super curious after all 4 are installed.

I did all 4 in about 2.5 hrs when I did my shocks and spacers on the street with a floor jack/stands and then the stock bottle jack to push the axle out of the way to avoid compressing the springs for install. Compared to other vehicles I found the disco to be very simple tho the spacers and springs in the front were frustrating at times. Looking good and can't wait to see how it all works on the trails.

If you haven't I would disconnect the sway bars or just remove them for when off-roading. It will really allow the new suspension to really shine and flex to it's full capacity. You will not be disappointed!

Saving for a new truck actually in spring 2020... I think I’m done with this other than fridge and winch.

yep hadn't seen a floor jack used but pushing the axle down is way way quicker than compressing springs and feels safer to me.

@whowa004 The compressors are fine you only need to compress about 1.5 - 2 inches. Those things have a bad rep from guys trying to compress 3 or 4 inches or more on massive springs with cheap compressors then trying to force the spring in place. Kind a of darwin in action, for Discos it is such a small amount and no force required they are pretty safe. I used a rental set on the front and it makes it way easier.

This is all comes out to $1200 versus the $600 for the TF HD KIT...

I feel like base on my research I'm gonna end up having to redo my suspension in a year or two if I go the cheaper way...

UGH! The headache

Just got the TF HD 2 in lift installed. Going to be putting on the duratracs Sunday.

Finally got it all on. 2 in TF HD kit. Tires are Duratrac 265/75/16. Rides good on the highway. Super quiet. Taking it off road tomorrow.
