Default One new head or two?

Alright. I'll fess up. I unknowingly dropped a bolt into the intake and killed one of the heads. Bent a valve. Banged up the valveway. No damage to the cylinder/block. It never made it out of the valveway.

My question is, can I replace the one head or do I need to just do both? The other is fine. Is having one new head and one old going to throw everything off?

I have done one before with no problems. It's kind of common practice when you work in a repair shop. Most customers want to get away with things as cheap as possible.
As far as engine performance, there should be no real difference. So it's really up to you.
