one of those dumb cdl ???'s

Did road/engine noise get considerably louder? That is one of the drawbacks I've experienced with my install. And I even used the shifter plate from the 04, then sealed it with RTV around the sides. It was a lot better than when I first put it in, but still noticeably louder than before I did the install.

Haha ya. If mine was a dedicated trail rig it wouldn't bother me either, but at the moment it's a DD for me.

Hahaha, great response. I hear you loud and clear, my situation is the same. I did in fact hear MUCH more noise after the CDL linkage install. I'm also hearing a LOT of drivetrain slap upon accel and letting off the gas. Will get under there and check it out...

I got under the truck a little while ago and gave that ol 10mm "open end" a turn on the t.case. it worked awesome however it took awhile for my tc and abs lights to go off after I unlocked it. I made sure that my tc was working but it feels like its still locked in. If the tc and abs lights are now off on the dash can the cdl still be locked? I made sure the nipple was turned back to unlock it something just doesn't feel right...whoops!

I went back under there and made sure again and its definitely off. So I found the closest hill side and checked the tc, works like it should. It makes sense the t case would be stiff after the first time it had been locked in.
