So i went to check out this Disco and it was pretty clean! i talked him down to 10k. it was not perfect though, it had the following issues:

oil leak that looked to be coming from the back of the engine where it meets the transmission.
diff lock light was on the whole time, even though the lever was to the right. i moved it back and forth but light did not come off.
3 amigos came on as soon as i put it in drive.
brakes were a bit mushy
keyfob does not lock or unlock the doors, but the button inside does.
the gauge cluster cover was loose


i talked him down from 12.5k to 10k. do you guys think its worth that much after the things i listed above? thanks!

 

go over there with $9k cash and the other thousand in your other pocket just in case. Use the difference to fix the issues.

oil leak I wouldn’t worry about. Just check the oil once a week (you should check coolant, brake, and oil levels once a week anyways on these)


it’s so clean cosmetically that I think it’s worth it and those all sound like relatively inexpensive and minor issues
