You can have your radiator re-cored at a radiator shop for a couple hundred bucks, a brand new one will set you back your first and second born.

As for the e-fans...fix the radiator first, the e-fans only work for the a/c, they do nothing to cool the engine as long as your clutch fan is working right.

I'm going to start with removing the radiator for cleaning and at the same time replace the clutch fan. Put it all back together and see what we got. How about the pressure cap on the over flow? Could this influence the overheating problem?

Thanks guys for help me this far in my quest to get this thing running so it can get out and covered in mud. Glad to have found this site!

So I see you are not going to pay any attention to my suggestion about dealing with your fan issues. Even with a clean radiator, you can toast a D1 engine with only partial air flow., then again, you may need to learn the hard way.
