Overheating question
Last week I had an issue with my temperature going up. I pulled over and opened the hood. The radiator reservoir tank was spewing so I called for a tow. After getting it home I thought it was the water pump. I replaced the water pump today. It didn't fix the problem. After a normal warm up period, the reservoir is pressurized. My head gaskets are less than 15,000 miles old and there's no antifreeze in the oil. I ordered a warm climate thermostat today. Can anyone think of some other reason?
There are dozens and dozens of threads on this forum about people investigating overheating issues. It's highly likely that what's causing your problem has been covered in great detail many times..
Just because you don't have oil in the coolant and your head gaskets are recently, that doesn't mean you don't have a cracked block or failed gasket again.

I'm sure there are dozens of threads, but nothing came up when I searched. So far I've replaced the water pump and today, the thermostat. I didn't let it heat beyond normal temperature, but I could see bubbles going into the expansion tank from the throttle body heater return line. what does that mean? I'm fairly sure that is how the expansion tank is getting pressurized.
The search function works better if you use the search engine of your choice and type in Landroverforums.com then the subject you are looking for.
The search function on this actual web site sucks for quickly finding anything.
