Default P0134 and 0135

I keep getting these codes and it's getting annoying
just replaced both my front o2 sensors codes come as pre codes in the ug I clear them sometimes they come back a few hours sometimes a few days
after researching the forum it could be
vacuum leaks
exhaust or maf sensor ?

I have checked for vacuum and exhaust leaks including the passenger side cat

should I take it to a shop so they can do a smoke test ? To pin point
will a smoke test also test the exhaust for leaks ?

I’d recommend finding someone to clear your adaptive settings. If you replaced the front O2 sensors the stored settings could still be used to the old ones & causing issues as the new ones will report differently.

Anytime a MAF or O2’s are replaced I highly recommend having the adaptive settings cleared. Make sure the intake tubing from the airbox to the MAF, and throttle body is secure along with the IAC hoses.

You’ll have to find someone with a $$$$ scantool that can clear the adaptive settings. I think the SnapOn unit can do it as it has manufacture specific profiles.

Ok I think I found the fix
so after getting multiple codes with bad o2 sensors and mislxture not right

I replaced all o2 sensors
replaced my coil packs
performed a smoke leak check on intake and exhaust
still kept getting the codes

sometimes I would be driving and everything was fine then all of a sudden I would get rough idle and o2 codes and you can tell it wasn't burning right because you can smell it

after busting my brain and digging and digging I found the gas purge valve is probably the cause
I think when the truck was off the valve would close sometimes but when it purged I think it's staying open therefor the gas vapours are just getting sucked into the intake causing all kinds of issues

I plugged my intake where purge would conect and so far it's awesome no more rough idle codes etc

found the Hyundai purge valve and installing it soon I left my existing purge valve connected electricaly because if you don't the engine light will come on

this would explain why when I did my smoke intake pressure test nothing appeared to be leaking because that purge valve was closed or the smoke was going into the charcoal canister
