p0150 and p1179?
Well where to start trying to fix up my 01 disco 2, so I can start on my 98 disco. Replaced the y pipe, because someone cut the cats out. Still had an exhaust leak from the passenger side manifold to the y pipe. Removed and replaced the broken studs and replaced. No exhaust leaks truck is quieter than ever. Now the p0150 pops up with a semi new (3 months or so) o2 sensors, all 4. Then a new code p1179. No idea what that code means. Haven't drove it yet to see if there is any difference in power with the new code or if it's sputters but far as idling no problem. I figure I will change out the B2s1 o2 sensor and see if the problem persists or if the wiring is faulty somewhere? Any ideas is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Dealing with the p0150 demon currently, along with its best friend p0130. Both front 02s are very recent. Car has been down for HG replacement.. I'll know if going through the harness and checking resistance and power signals was worth all the time after I replace them... again.
I'm sorry I cannot help, just figured I would chime in due to similar situation. Lol

For both of you, try carefully cleaning the connectors. In my case that did the trick when two month-old front O2s were giving me fits several months ago.
And martin12, my copy of RAVE doesn't list a P1179 code. Are you sure that's what you're getting?

After work today I'll crank the truck, and usually before the truck warms up I get the p0150 then the p1179. I'll copy down what it says, I'll also clean the connection to see if maybe that will help before I crank the truck. Thanks
