Default P0207 P1207 Help

I have a 98 Land Rover discovery that has been great. Today I had this problem pop up. I checked the wires to my cylinder 7 injector and it was fine. My check engine light is on and has codes 1207 and 0207. Has anybody else ran across this? I have new plugs (NGK) and wires on it and they are on in the correct order. I know LR is known for electrical problems I just hope we can figure these out because I can not afford to take it in.

How many miles on your truck, how often do you change your fuel filter and what brand of wires are you using? Answer all the questions.
A 207 is a malfunction injector on # 7, 1207 is a #7 injector open circuit or ground short.

I have had it a few years and have not changed the fuel filter. I have a new one and will change it today or tomorrow. I replaced the wired with NGK wires. They are a pretty good quality. Truck has 81k miles on it.

Let me know what it takes to get the injector working again, if you can.

What was the final fix? New injector? I have the same two codes for the same cylinder.

ok, for anyone wondering, the fix was a replacement injector. Given the codes and symptoms, I ordered a reman. injector, installed it, and now it's running fine - no codes.
