Default p0300 and p0306 2002 D2

Hello fellow rovers,
I keep getting this codes p0300 and p 0306, replaced all spark plugs, ignition cables swapped the coil pack around to see if the problem of p0306 moves to the other side but didn't. replaced the solenoid purge valve and hose was all cracked up, replaced the MAF sensor it failed. It idles and runs pretty good, when I connect the hawkeye reader misfire summary is zero even after driving it around for 50 miles. smoked checked it for vacuum leaks no leaks noted around engine bay. only thing left I can think of is do compression test and fuel injectors (put injector cleaner is gas already). Does anybody know how to test the injector, since the are under the intake plenum and very hard to reach. Anybody else have any other idea what's going on? Thanks for the assistance in advance.

Had same issue. You can try finding correct pins on ecu for the injectors and do it from there - I did start there, but it won't tell you much besides dead of alive kind of thing. I would pull the upper intake (about 30min of work) and take the injectors out - replace all the orings and filters while you are at it (injector rebuild kit goes for abt $20) and do a thorough cleaning (YouTube search for instructions). As for your coils it could be wiring that leads to them (this is what happened in my case) and swapping around won't help.

You will have some codes if injectors are failing. But if you need to replace them, get the reconditioned ones. It should be easier now since you were able to swap the coil packs around when you remove the intake. #6 is a bit tricky when the code kept coming back. Better check the cylinder if coolant got inside.
