Exclamation Misfire Mystery

Buckle up. You're in for a wild ride.

So, I have a 2004 Disco II with the 4.6 that has been misfiring on cylinders 1, and 5 . within the last few months it has:

-A new bottom end
-Resurfaced heads, valves came back clean, and serviceable.
-New ignition system, new coil pack, new wires (2nd set), and new plugs (3rd set)
-New fuel injectors

after all of that, I'm still getting a misfire on cylinder 5.

When I removed the fuel injector for cylinder 5, the fuel was under pressure and sprayed everywhere. I'm thinking maybe the fuel rail itself is clogged??? I googled the issue and didn't find anything helpful so here is a new post.

Have any of you ever heard of a clogged fuel rail affecting only one injector? If so how did you clean it out? Any recommendations? I was thinking fully uninstall the rail from the vehicle and remove all of the injectors and then clean it with some brake cleaner and pipe cleaners and then a thorough rinse with isopropyl alcohol.

Thank you in advance!

What does the tip of the spark plug in 5 look like? Clean or wet?

is the coil pack bracket bolted down to the engine block properly? i know i read a number of threads on here where that turned out to be the cause of a stubborn misfire

Those sorts of misfires beg for swapping items between cylinders until something moves. Those cylinders are on different coils, so that is not likely it. Left and Right swap plugs first, then wires, then coils, then injectors. See what moves in terms of misfire codes. If nothing moves, its something with the actual cylinders, like valves, or pistons.
