Default P0335 Crank Position Sensor Error

Is that correct? Last nite I shut off my 04 and talked to a buddy for 10 mins, then jumped back in the truck to leave but it would not start. Just whirled and whirled but never kicked. Let it set a few, and it started right up. Then driving home, took my foot of the gas and it stalled. Pulled over, same thing. Whirled and whirld, nothing. Waited a few and it started.

Pulled the codes today and saw P0335, looked it up and i found Crankshaft Position Sensor Signal Error.

Could that be my problem?

Thanks for any info.

Chris

For some reason, when they fail, they often start with some kind of heat-soak related issue. So when you shut it off, the sensor got nice and hot and went open circuit. It'll only get worse, yes - replace it.
