Default P1300, P0301,3,5,7 On first off road trip of the year

Hi, I know the codes are for miss-fires and they are all the one side of the engine... is this a normal thing if water was splashed up inside the engine compartment on the passengers side. I am thinking coil pack got wet... but maybe the coil pack just died??? Not sure.

The question is: Can I water proof this area? If so how... thank you for the help.

Cheers!

I believe 1, 3, 5 & 7 are on different coils, so that wouldn't be it.

Drowssap, you are correct... I didn't notice that. Sooo back to the drawing board, I have no idea where to start now. It happened right after I drove through a large puddle... so I am thinking that it has to do with the water. BUT no idea.

Would welcome any suggestions...

back in the days of OLD we used to use spray clear lacquer to water proof areas, it also the reason every used car lot spray the engines down with it, it not to make them shine its to seal any leaks vacuum or bad wires from otherwise from the unsuspecting customer
