Default P1316/P1178 & overdrive shakes

Has anyone successfully found the causes and fixes to these error codes? I have a97 w/ 38K miles and cannot get these to go away. Also, when I hit overdrive I have some shaking any ideas?

It seems like there are a lot of threads going on with these, but no conclusions...txs

1178, Maximum Positive AMFR Correction Fault
1316, is Misfire Excessive Emission fault.
The 1178 is a bugger to find and fix, can be a vacuum leak, the 1316 is leaning towards plugs and or wires.
Has the truck been tuned, what octane gas are you running?
May want to consider a good induction cleaning after the tune up.

Both have been a pain. I have changed the plugs(champion), wires, and have seafoamed the intake and added to 92 octane gas. No obvious vacuum leaks that I can see. Has new gas filter and pump. Wonder if the O2's are bad, not sure how to check them. also, cleaned the MAF with appropriate cleaner.

No, it is not the 02's, you don't have a code for them.
How is the engine running, what brand of wires did you install?
