Question P1590 and Idle Air Control Valve?

My '01 Disco II started 'stumbling' when trying to accelerate, then died altogether. Turns over strong, was running just fine before this occurred. Research and past experience told me 'idle air control valve', but the DTC read P1590. Replaced the idle air valve with a salvage yard unit, still will not start. Cleared the DTC, no change. Before I have it towed to the local LR Dealer, anything else I should try? HELP!!!

It could be the crank position sensor. Befor changing that try starting it with a little gas peddal pressure while it's cranking. If it is the IAC it will start but not idle with help from the gas peddal. JMO D*
