Default P1884 and P0603 Codes

P1884 = Engine air intake temperature invalid No apparent effect. On Off.

P0603 = Internal control module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error

I've got two engine codes, both listed above. I've got no idea on the 603 and it's never been posted here on the forums. Any ideas on what it means? Only work done recently was replacing the lifters with a factory style. Made the cam pretty lopey which registers a couple misses at idle, but acts perfect once you give it any gas at all. Pretty cool, sounds like an old muscle car. Anyway, that's unrelated and not an issue. Does anyone have any idea on the KAM error especially? Also, which sensor is the 1884 referring to?

Thanks, guys!

I appreciate it, 9! I suppose that means it's referring to the temp gauge in the lower intake manifold?

I forget where the intake temp sensor is on my truck... they're either in the rubber intake tube or built into the maf sensor. I don't have my truck here to look at it. I try to leave it at the shop so I don't drive it and break it. Lol
The keep alive memory is usually run by a constant 12v wire that goes directly to the ECU. It is usually labeled ECU1 or ECU2 or something like that. It should have power at all times, key on or off. If the fuse is good and you have power there, you'll need to test the wire at the ECU.

Awesome, appreciate it. I've driven the truck 3-4 times today and its still only pending, so I'm hoping it just goes away. Haha
