I'm putting together a parts list for the bottom half of the engine, everything beneath the heads basically. I already have the top parts, valve train assembly, rods, lifters, etc. I don't want to forget anything, list so far;
piston rings
rear cruix seals
main bearing dowty bolt & washer set
freeze plugs
oil pan seal gasket
front & rear crank oil seal
oil pick-up o ring
camshaft plug
main bearings
timing gears/chain
head gasket set w/bolts
connecting rod bolts
oil pump
camshaft
front cover gasket w/bolts
drive belt
waterpump & gasket
I know I'm forgetting something, Any suggestions / recommendations? I have two engines in the shop, one on the stand, stripped down, cleaned and ready to be rebuilt. I've been away for two years so just need need some mental refreshing. I'll be working on the transmission as well, still in truck, was covered up but there is some rust on the torque converter, save that for another post though.
