Default Pass side window

Rolled the windows down in my 02 Disco last night. The pass side went all the way down and now it won't roll back up. It's making a clicking sound when I try to roll up or down. Probabaly motor or regulator? Anybody have any suggestions or ideas?

the clicking sound is more than likely the gears on the motor have went past the regulator gear, due to the plastic rollers wearing out. normally a regulator is needed, although people have replaced the rollers.

It may be either as Joemamma1954 states or the center pivot of the semi circular gear worn out or the actual semi circular gear has stripped. Whatever, it's going to take either a new regulator and/or motor or a repair. Aftermarket motorised regulators are very cheap to buy, circa $20 on Ebay plus the motor if it's that which is often unlikely.

I'm looking at getting regulators. Would the Rear Pass side regulators fit on the front pass side?

Hi, I very much doubt it. They are handed left and right and front and rear so when ordering be clear and specific which regulator you need. To my knowledge they are all different according to orientation.

I assume 'pass side' you mean RHS on a LHD truck.

Yup, it was the regulator. Got the right part for the door, easy fix. Thanks.

Glad you got it fixed. I was about to direct you to
this thread about half way down, where I dealt with a similar problem and replaced the whole mechinism.
