Default DRIVER rear fog WIRING-now NO FOGS

2001 Disco II - I noticed today that when I turn on the rear fog lamps the passenger directional bulb does not light up, but blinks when the directional is turned on. Also, in the front lense, the passenger bulb does not light up either but does blink when the directional is turned on. They blink as normal, not faster than usual like when a bulb is burnt out. On the drivers side, both rear and front directional bulbs light up when rear fog is turned on. I checked all bulbs on the passenger side and cleaned connetions, couple grounds. Any ideas on why they are not lighting on the passenger side?

Thanks

Your turn signal signals are not supposed to light up at all, they only blink.
Your rear fogs are only supposed to light up and not the turn signals.
Do you have any water in your driver side rear tail light lens?
It is common for the lens to leak and water shorts out and corrodes the wire harness which can cause all kinds of problems.

When I turned on the switch for the rear fogs, the front, side, and rear directional also lit, dimmly, along with the red fogs. So I pulled the rear fog/directional assembly and it was damp. Also noticed that the previous owner had a bunch of electical tape around the wires so i figured something was done in the past, probably melted the casing aroung the wires due to the exhaust being right there. I pulled the tape off and all three wires were cut and twisted back together. The wires themselves were completely black. I cut off the bad sections and rewired them. The only colored wire that matched up was the black one. From the harness to the assembly I had a red/yellow and red/green to attach to a solid red and solid green on the assembly. I did it just as they were. When I tried the lights then, there was nothing, not even the little orange light on the switch lit up. Not even the passenger side fog lights up now. I turned on the blinkers and they stay on now, even when the directional arm is in the middle. I did some more cleaning of connections, even cleaned the terminal posts on the battery, pretty corroded. Dont know what I messed up in cleaning up the wires, but something went wrong. I checked all the fuses, all good.
Any ideas?

Thank you,
