You don't need the entire regulator. You need to either buy this

http://www.jewellamberoil.com/sales/...roducts_id=185

or do what i did,

http://picasaweb.google.com/jycsalas...torFixerUpper#

or make your own little roller... =)

Good luck!

I took some 2 part plastic epoxy and glued mine back together, holding it with vice grips and spinning every 30 seconds so it didn't stick to the shaft. Then I took a file and evened it out, and it has worked fine for almost 3 years now.....

I was missing chuncks too, and it was oval shaped, but putting extra epoxy on it allowed me to file it back down. I actually had to do it twice because I used jb weld the first time. Didn't work. You have to get the light colored stuff for plastic that stinks really bad. The more it stinks, the better it sticks. That's been my rule of thumb anyways...

Default window regulator roller

I just went ahead and ordered the metal one from falconworks.com ($40) seems steep considering an aftermarket is only $80....I only did that instead of making one....due to the girlfriend smokes and like to use the window alot and kids slamming the door all the time. I live in southflorida and it gets hot. My roller is cracked and a piece is missing. I could glue and fill but i am afraid the heat would get it eventually. I could file one down (drawer roller, another car) but I just dont want to be messing with it since I dont know what i am doing. I will repost with the outcome so eveyone will know if the part works well. thanks for the tip jycsalas

I recently replaced my passenger side regulator. I kept the original regulator planning to rebuild it with the metal rollers as soon as I get back to work. Next time I have a regulator fail I am going to install the metal rollers and be done.

Default Regulator Rollers

I can replace the rollers on the whole regulator for half the price of the new one. You can email me for a quote the regulator has to be removed and shipped to me though.
