Default please help

ok so disregard previous post. got truck today and was running a little rough, mechanic asked if she normally ran rough. said rpms floated a little but they had truck for 2 days, tightened pan gasket, put anti freeze in and drove it under a bunch of different loads. I got in it drove it on the highway for maybe 10 minutes. evrything still great, rounded for home and it started overheating, pulled over and turned on the heater. cold air, stopped and turned it off. let sit for 20 minutes and drove back to shop. as it sat at idle one heater hose was cold, the other hot. they thought it was head gasket but came across pan gasket and a busted hose before. now here's my question, since this is a closed and pressurized system is there an easy way to tell if it's the head gasket, or is it possible I "dropped a sleeve!", she runs rough now where she didn't before, coolant leaking into heads? no smoke, no real drop in power, but after a bunch of driving she runs low on coolant please help, thanks,Bill

Yes, you can do one of 2 tests, either a coolant pressur test or a chemical block test, both will show if your head gaskets are gone.
