Default Please help, horn and driving light issue

Hello just baught a 2001 disco II SD, I love it and yes I bought it knowing that they have there probs, but what car or truck dosnt. So far I found that my horn dosnt work, and the front hella driving lamps do not work.Havnt looked int the horn yet.As far as the lights go, there is power at the switch but not at the lights.I swaped out the relay, still no luck, and I also checked all the fuses, yes I did check the bulbs.Any idears would be helpful.Tommorow I am taking my bumper off, so hopfully I can see where the wires go and I can see if there is any brakes in them.If not i will end up wiring up a after arket loom and use the oem switch.

Also is there any one out there who lives in IL around streamwood, would like to meet some other owners,so we can all help each other out!

As for the horn, the buttons like to pop off for no reason and then when you put them back if you dont do it right they wont work.

ajmille,

Do you have a voltage meter?

If so, I'd be happy to talk you through chasing down that circuit. If you don't have a meter, go buy one at Home Depot / Menards / Hardware store. The cheap $10 or $15 model will work fine and serve you well for years. If you would like to chat just send me a message with you're number and I'll give you a call.

Good luck and welcome!

~Max

I think the horn are bad, I put direct power to them and nothing.
