Default plenum chamber heating

I have just noticed whie reading my service manual that my 1996 disco 1 have plenum chamber heating. If i rempove it to change it so that it becomes a cooler will that affect my preformance or will it my my disco run bad?

Do you mean the coolant lines that go to your throttle body?

I removed mine 4 years ago and our Colorado winters have had no bearing on my starting or performance.

Cool what did you do to remove it and do you think making it in to a cooler would do any good. I live in South Carolina.

Just remove them from the t-body and "close" the circuit. If it isint leaking I wouldnt mess with it.
Are you having overheating problems? Why do you want an aux cooler?

NO.
The only way to get more HP from a Disco is a performance engine rebuild.

or swap your ckp signal wires. but yeah, keep your heater, youll get no noticible gain, and if you got any build up in your t/b it can make it stick much easier
