Any of the better Champion or Bosch plugs will be good. Use only 8 mm silicone wires, my preference are the Magnacor wires.

I just did STI 8mm wires and Bosh +4 plugs today and I couldn't be more pleased. (I also did all four O2 sensors.) The write up in the sticky section is great, I'd read the entire thread before starting, it'll save you some time once you get going.

Let me also add that I purchased my wires from BP Utah on Mike's recommendation and I'll do as much business as I can with them in the future. Great guys and quick service.

Bigger wires are not necessary and most 8.5 wires are pretty expensive. I would not recommend the Bosch wires, they don't hold up under our engines heat.

Why????
Go with what work and has been proven, 8 mm silicone like Magnacor or STI. Too many other brands have a tendency to not hold up to the heat in our engine compartment and fail.
