Have you tested your watts linkage?

get a buddy/wife/offspring/life partner/some body to rock the truck side to side while you lay under it and listen at the watts linkage. it is easy to locate it as a source that way. prolly is more towards drivers side of rear axle.

I chased this noise for a year. I changed out sway bar links, sway bar mounts, all the watts link bushings etc. For me what fixed it was the 4 large control arm to frame bushings. Mine needed all four replaced ar 135k miles. It is deceiving because the old worn out ones look just like the new ones there were no signS of wear. But when I replaced all four the clunking noises stopped completely. They are a pain to do. Torch out the old rubber and then use a hacksaw to cut the old metAL ring and punch it out. To press the new ones in takes a lot of pressure. I tried using a jack to press against the frame of the truck but it just raised the truck off the ground. Probably need to borrow a press at a machine shop to press them in. That's what I did at least.

Same happened to me....turned out to be a bad TF rear shock. Was replaced under warranty (Thanks Lucky8!).
